The CMC Harken Lokhead Winch Kit is a proven high-load, low-friction winch that is an excellent choice for rescue operations and work at height.

The LokHead can be used anywhere a load needs to be lifted or lowered. Rigged to a tripod, it can be used for confined-space rescue operations, for load moving/hauling, and personnel hoisting. The LokHead’s lightweight construction and ability to use an unlimited length of fiber rope make this self-tailing winch an ideal choice whether permanently mounted or used as a portable device.

The ergonomic design reduces fatigue and optimizes operator strength, while safety features such as locking jaws protect against free fall or accidental release. The winch can be driven manually with the provided handle or with a compatible power drill.

The innovative LokHead Winch Kit (NFPA) meets the certification requirements of NFPA 2500 (1983), 2022 Edition “T” . The kit includes the LokHead winch with reversible plate, waterproof carrying case, winch handle, tripod adapter with counter plate, control lever, CMC Variable Anchor strap, and two CMC ProSeries carabiners. The strap and carabiners also meet NFPA standards.

Perfect for fixed or temporary applications and rescue. The captive head allows the winch to be used safely, and keeps the rope from accidentally releasing. The winch’s simple construction requires no lubrication and can be flushed clean with fresh water.
