Elkhart Brass 228A-2.5″ Inline Pressure Gauge
The Elkhart Brass 228A-2.5″ Inline Pressure Gauge is designed to measure water pressure directly within a hose line during firefighting operations
Description:
Elkhart 2.5″ Inline Pressure Gauge – 0–200 PSI Fire Hose Gauge
The Elkhart 228A 2.5″ Inline Pressure Gauge is designed to measure water pressure directly within a hose line during firefighting operations. Installed between hose connections, it allows firefighters to monitor pressure at the nozzle or along the line, helping crews evaluate pump discharge pressure and water flow conditions.
Inline Hose Pressure Monitoring
This inline gauge connects directly into a 2.5″ hose line and displays pressure readings in real time. It is commonly used during training, pump testing, and fireground operations where monitoring pressure at specific points in the hose layout is helpful.
Luminescent Gauge Face
The pressure gauge features a phosphorescent dial face, allowing readings to remain visible in low-light environments such as nighttime operations or interior training scenarios.
Shock-Resistant Gauge Design
The gauge is air-filled and shock resistant, helping protect the internal components during normal fireground handling and hose movement.
Lightweight Elk-O-Lite® Aluminum Construction
The body is constructed from hard-anodized Elk-O-Lite® aluminum, providing a lightweight hose accessory that can be easily carried in tool kits or placed into hose layouts during testing or troubleshooting.
Free-Swivel Hose Connection
A 2.5″ female swivel inlet allows the gauge to rotate freely when connecting to hose lines, helping reduce hose twist and improving installation.
Pressure Range
• Gauge range: 0–200 psi (0–14 BAR)
• Fully guarded gauge housing
• Protective gauge face cover included
Hose Connections
• 2.5″ female swivel inlet
• 2.5″ male outlet
Typical Applications
Inline pressure gauges are commonly used by firefighters during pump training, hose testing, and fireground troubleshooting to monitor water pressure at specific points along a hose line.
