The Fire-Dex H41 Interceptor® Firefighting Hood with Stedair® PREVENT is a particulate-blocking hood designed to provide thermal protection while helping reduce exposure to fireground contaminants. It integrates flame-resistant materials with a full-coverage particulate barrier across key exposure areas including the head, neck, and SCBA interface.

Designed for Fireground Exposure Environments

Modern firefighting hoods are designed to address both thermal hazards and particulate exposure. The H41 Interceptor® hood incorporates a barrier layer intended to reduce the transfer of fireground contaminants to commonly exposed areas such as the jaw, neck, and ears.

The barrier system extends throughout the hood, including the crown, sides, bib, and SCBA interface areas.

This hood features a 2-layer construction:

• Outer layer: Nomex® / Lenzing blend (20% / 80%) for flame resistance and durability
• Inner layer: Stedair® PREVENT particulate barrier
