The TEMPEST TIC is a thermal imaging camera designed to help firefighters interpret heat signatures and visibility conditions during fireground operations. By detecting temperature differences, the camera allows firefighters to visualize heat patterns through smoke and low-visibility environments, supporting situational awareness during search, fire attack, and overhaul.
Thermal Imaging for Fireground Awareness
Thermal imaging cameras are commonly used by firefighters to identify heat sources, locate fire spread, and navigate smoke-filled structures. The TEMPEST TIC provides a wide detection range, allowing crews to evaluate conditions across both low-temperature and high-temperature environments.

Large Display for Visibility
The camera features a large 3.5″ or 4″ display, designed to provide clear thermal imagery while wearing gloves and operating in low-visibility conditions.
Simple One-Button Operation
A single oversized control button allows firefighters to operate the camera quickly, even when wearing structural firefighting gloves. This simplified interface supports quick deployment during emergency response.
Fast Startup Time
The camera powers on in approximately 5 seconds, allowing crews to access thermal imaging shortly after activation during critical operations.
Long Runtime Power System
The TEMPEST TIC uses high-temperature LiFePO4 battery technology, designed for dependable operation during extended incidents.

Thermal imaging cameras are commonly used by firefighters for search operations, fire location, overhaul, size-up, and identifying heat conditions inside structures where visibility is limited by smoke or darkness.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
