Tempest VS1.3 Standard Battery-Powered Firefighter Ventilation Fan

The Tempest VS1.3 Standard Battery-Powered Fan is a compact positive pressure ventilation (PPV) fan designed for smoke removal, interior ventilation, and airflow control during fireground operations. It combines high-output airflow, extended runtime, and shore power capability to support both rapid deployment and sustained ventilation needs.

Built for Fireground Ventilation

Battery-powered PPV fans are commonly used by fire departments for interior attack support, overhaul operations, and confined-space ventilation. The VS1.3 Standard provides cordless operation for fast deployment while maintaining the ability to run continuously when connected to shore power.

High Airflow Output

The VS1.3 delivers up to 10,887 CFM (AMCA certified) using an 18" tapered steel shroud and composite impeller system. This airflow is designed to support effective positive pressure ventilation by improving smoke movement and interior visibility.

A thin-vane air straightener grill helps direct airflow into a controlled stream for more efficient ventilation.

Extended Runtime Performance

The integrated lithium-ion battery system provides up to 70 minutes of runtime at full speed, supporting extended operations without frequent battery changes.

Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
